Berj Fazlian Biography

Berj Fazlian is a Lebanese-Armenian drummer and producer. Raised in an artistic family, he began playing drums at age 12 and quickly developed a passion for groove-driven, expressive rhythms. At 18, he gained recognition as the youngest member of the Exposonix band at Expo 2020 Dubai and later performed at the Baalbeck International Festival’s Sound of Resilience concert, which was viewed by more than 20 million people worldwide. A student at Berklee College of Music in Boston and a fellowship recipient through Berklee’s Abu Dhabi program, Berj continues to evolve as both a performer and educator. As a composer and producer, he blends live drumming with lo-fi and instrumental beats. He currently leads the Boston-based Berj Fazlian Quartet and serves as the drummer for Iranian pop artist Shadmehr Aghili’s North American and European tours.
