Cameron Carbone Biography

Cameron Carbone is a professionally acclaimed drummer and world-class educator hailing from Dallas, TX. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University in 2014. Following his graduation, Cameron moved to Austin, TX, where he dedicated a decade to instructing proficient percussionists and creating comprehensive percussion/drum set curriculums, now utilized by students worldwide.

Since that time, he has devoted over 15,000 hours to teaching 500+ students, embarked on international and national tours with various performing artists, and contributed to numerous records. He also took on the role of Music Director at Lakeshores Church before returning to Dallas in 2023. Cameron is notably recognized for his work with the instrumental progressive-metal band, Altermind, appealing to fans of Animals As Leaders, Periphery, and Intervals. The band has gathered 600,000 total streams since March 2021. He is also known for his drum education platform, Paragon Drums, a collaborative project with Clay Aeschliman of Polyphia.
