Jafet Perez is a Dominican musician, drummer, percussionist, bass player , composer and music producer. He is an active member of the Grammy Music Academy. Jafet Perez has been one of the most sought-after Latin musicians in the city of New Orleans. His style of blending Caribbean rhythms and Afro- pop jazz fusion has earned him considerable success throughout the city. He does not limit himself to one style of music, but incorporates diverse musical rhythms including Dominican folk music, bolero, bachata, ballad, salsa, mambo, rock, funk, New Orleans second line, R&B.
