José Carlos Sánchez Portilla Biography

At just 17 years old, his first journey took him to New York to perform with the "Big Band Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra," where he met and played with Wynton Marsalis. Upon completing his studies, he began playing and recording with numerous national and international artists, including Alain Pérez (album "El cuento de la buena pipa"), Omara Portuondo (jazz festival "Barranquijazz," Colombia), María del Mar Bonet (tour "Ultramar"), and others.
