For over a decade, Toms Kagainis has been at the heart of the
rhythm, known for his dynamic grooves and creative energy
behind the kit. Growing up in Latvia, Toms’ drumming journey
started with a DIY setup made from whatever he could find in
his grandparents’ storage house—an early spark that fueled
his passion and shaped his unique style.
As the drummer for Citi Zēni, Toms has performed across
Europe, with a highlight being the band’s performance on the
Eurovision 2022 stage. Partnering with Meinl Stick & Brush
has been the ultimate game-changer, providing him with the
tools to fine-tune his sound and push his creative boundaries.
With a love for drumming that drives him forward, Toms
continues to bring energy and passion to every performance,
inspiring both audiences and fellow drummers alike.
